Yo forgot the tag COTM1
I don't know why, but when I use it, it doesn't work :/
Send me a PM when you have 2 more up.. you're def worth a scout
One more buddy.. ONE MORE
Haha one second i've got a couple more i can put up :)
More like this... the hat looks a little unfinished and watch those values on color... otherwise I think you have a much stronger understanding of value and anatomy! Massive improvements from your previous work bud.. This one earns you a scout in my book, keep the output like this man and keep going strong!
Thanks for the critique, the scout and the kind words, definitely gonna keep working at it!
Good study... I dont know where Pollorojo gets off on his critique, This was 4 years ago so I'm sure you already know but remember the TOP lid is the one that moves.. generally not the bottom what so ever.. watch your iris sizes and make sure your eyeball fits snuggly into the eye socket. Bottom two aren't bad but they have some rather striking issues. The eyebrow needs to follow the brow line and the lids wrap over the eye ball... also the eye shape isn't always almond especially when in 3/4 views and the like. Top one is rather close. All in all good work, and considering this review is 4 years late and from what I've seen of your newer work, I think my critique on this piece is rather lost...
Good job.. very good... Good scaling.. good depth... good atmospheric perspective... you have the three basic elements.. get more up and ill give you a scout
Do more like this.. I'll give you a scout
Thank you i have more, let me put them up :)
SOLID RENDER! No Criticism here!
Well done man,, good skin gradation, the lips are not to hot... hair is nice and fine.. Only real problem I see is the top of the head.. you have your hair failling a bit short, doesn't follow the contour of the face. If you just added more to the top to show the skull wrapping UP and Around this would be pretty darn close to a photo real.
The issue with this 1 was that I still had no clue how to draw hair, I would start with a solid color and then just a few strokes with the mixer brush but not nearly as much as I had to
With the latest one I drew the hair looks more realistic but there's still plenty of issues
Ah well, some day I'll finally be skilled enough to get it all right :P
Thanks for the comment
Well penned! Well penned! I would say compositionally to raise the model a bit, the height of the canvas makes him feel a bit short, but solid work none the less!
Thank you so much! Will definitely keep that in mind for the next one. I really appreciate the feedback!
